ABOUT JOHNNIE
During my first doctoral class, DMIN 820, Research and Thesis Development
at Liberty University in Fall of 2023, I had to develop my thesis project and identify a
problem. I remember toiling over this for about a week, and then the Lord reminded me of the
vision He had given me in 2020 regarding cancer care for survivors. It was like a light bulb
going off, and I remember thanking God for bringing me back around to the vision He had
etched into my heart. From that moment on, God stepped in and walked alongside me throughout
this process, providing me with everything I needed to carry out this mission.
All glory belongs to God, for I walk confidently, knowing He will continue to guide my
every step. The vision for Lotus of Love Cancer Care, Inc. was His gift, and I trust that the same
God who inspired the dream will provide the means to see it fully realized, with every element of
M.I.N.D brought to life in His perfect timing. I give God all the glory!
OUR MISSION
The mission of Lotus of Love Cancer Care is to offer hope and healing by addressing the needs
of individuals affected by cancer through compassionate, community-centered spiritual and
emotional support. The organization envisions creating a sustainable framework for cancer care
within faith communities, particularly by empowering local churches to play an active role in
supporting those who are facing cancer.

Looking ahead, Lotus of Love Cancer Care aims to expand its services beyond its current scope, seeking to partner with other churches and organizations to create a nationwide network of faith-based cancer care ministries. Dr. Quiller envisions a future where churches across the country are equipped to provide comprehensive cancer care, addressing not just the physical, but the emotional and spiritual needs of all those affected by the disease.

Inspired by the lotus flower, a symbol of rebirth and resilience, Lotus of Love Cancer Care
embodies a message of hope, endurance, and transformation. The lotus rises from muddy waters
to bloom, symbolizing the journey of cancer survivors and those affected by the disease who
must navigate hardships to reach a place of healing.
The organization's slogan, “Lotus of Love Cancer Care: Laugh Out Loud – Healing Hearts, One Smile at a Time,” emphasizes the importance of joy, positivity, and laughter as part of the
emotional healing process. This approach acknowledges that spiritual and emotional well-being
are critical components of recovery and survivorship, complementing the physical aspects of
cancer treatment.
